The City Between Worlds

2 min readArchitecture

Strasbourg was the third stop on the journey, following Reims. Time was limited, so my visit focused on the cathedral and the streets that surround it. Even within those few hours, the city revealed itself in moments a reflection in the canal, the sound of voices shifting gently between French and German.

Strasbourg is a city of crossings, a place between nations, languages, and centuries. Standing on the Rhine, it feels both rooted and fluid, shaped by a history of movement and exchange. Its identity has never been fixed, but something living, evolving, and beautifully complex.
